Every other industry has been rebuilt by software. The broker-dealer hasn't: it still runs on headcount, phone calls, and processes designed before the internet. Meanwhile, the models got good enough to do real work.

But securities are regulated for good reason, and a model with a send button is a liability. So Veles is two companies: a technology company that builds, and a broker-dealer where registered humans hold the pen. That structure is the thesis — an AI-native broker-dealer, built compliance-first.

The pen stays human

Models draft, score, and route. Registered people approve, sign, and send. Nothing ships on model authority alone.

Compliance is architecture

Approval queues, archiving, and disclosure rules are in the workflow, not bolted on after. If it can't be supervised, it doesn't ship.

Build the boring parts well

Audit trails, entity separation, written agreements. The unglamorous machinery is what lets the ambitious part run at full speed.

Models do the work. Humans hold the pen.
